“I’m watching you” – Our showcase in the heart of Graz
In the middle of Graz’s city center, on Albrechtgasse, passers-by can now discover a very special showcase. Under the claim “I’m watching you”, we are raising awareness for our project ontrack with an interactive installation.

This project was made possible by the gründercenter of steiermärkische sparkasse as part of 200 years #glaubandich. With this initiative, startups from Graz and Styria are given the opportunity to present their innovative ideas right in the heart of the city.

What is ontrack?
ontrack is a navigation solution for blind and visually impaired people. Our goal is to enable greater independence, autonomy, and safety in everyday life. The app supports users in orienting themselves within urban spaces – both on foot and when using public transportation.
What does the showcase demonstrate?
The showcase is designed to be both barrier-free and interactive. The claim “I’m watching you” catches the attention of passers-by. As they approach, they can experience two perspectives:
a walk through Graz’s city center as seen by a fully sighted person the exact same route as perceived with different eye conditions and visual impairments
This direct comparison creates instant awareness of the challenges faced daily by more than 2.5 million blind and visually impaired people in the European Union.

Why this matters
With ontrack, we want to help reduce these barriers. Our goal is to foster independence for people with visual impairments and improve their mobility in urban environments. The showcase not only informs, but also sparks reflection and raises public awareness of the issue.
